In collaboration with Wendy Andreu, an architectural rack was designed out of flat, laser-cut aluminium sheets. During this process, no screwing, riveting or welding was required, allowing the rack to be easily assembled or dismantled again. The Double Pyramid is a first element of a series of furniture devoted to this user-friendly technique and the particular look of aluminium, followed up by the Fat and the Regular Pyramids. The Double Pyramid was initially made for Core Studio and their Hardcore expo during the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven. Pictures by Core Studio
