Layered Offcuts – Made for Tableau CPH A lot of smaller pieces of Douglass wood were very intuitively layered into bigger planks, and were randomly piled on top of each other until a very primitive stacked bench and stool appeared. These stacked forms were translated into the roughly cut Layered Stool and Bench. The layered wooden planks were cut freely by hand with the tools available in my workshop.
